Raffa di Puegnago is a charming village nestled in the Valtenesi region, the perfect place for those in search of tranquillity and the typical hospitality of this area. This spot can also boast excellent food and wine, thanks also to the PDO extra virgin olive oil and to the DOC registered designation of origin wines. The parish church dating back to 1824 and dedicated to the “Madonna della Neve” - Madonna of the Snow rises up in the centre of the village, and here it is possible to admire a painting by Celesti.
The inland Valtenesi region features villages, medieval castles and rural churches, nestled in suggestive moraine hills lined with vineyards and olive groves combined with perfumes and flavours of the local cuisine.
The nearby Puegnago rests amongst the Valtenesi hills offering breathtaking views of Lake Garda and of Mount Baldo. The ancient villages are home to suggestive niches and works of art, as well as architectural operas which are worth seeing, like the many little churches, the castle and the bell tower of Castello.
